line.ipt arises from the partnership between the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar, the Abrantes City Council, TagusValley and Nersant, as a catalyst for innovation and technological development in the region, promoting competitiveness in the business sector. As a research center entirely aimed at companies, line.ipt's objective is to develop new products, technologies and processes and/or improvement/reconversion of existing products or processes, directly applicable in the industry. It acts as a catalyst for innovation and technological development, promoting the competitiveness and level of training and specialization of the companies' technical staff.
