Researchers Henrique Pinho, Pedro Correia, and Renato Panda from our R&D Center recently attended the Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2022 in Lisbon, held at FIL. The summit showcased a wide range of expositions and technologies related to smart cities. Participants included municipalities, national and international public and private entities, and educational institutions from secondary and higher education. The event highlighted the role of academic and scientific institutions in fostering knowledge transfer and innovation dynamics, promoting collaboration with businesses and society. Additionally, the summit featured companies and startups specializing in intelligent mobility, energy, IoT, environment and sustainability, water, waste management, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and big data.
