The TransCoTec project aims to enhance the value of R&D results and reinforce the transfer of scientific and technological knowledge to the business sector, through a consortium formed by three Polytechnic Institutes (IP), IPPortalegre, IPTomar and IPSantarém. Scientific and technological knowledge transfer activities are essentially aimed at companies operating in the Agri-food, Energy, Water and Environment sectors, but also at creating spin-offs or start-ups in these sectors of activity. It would be desirable to have greater detail on the project's operational objectives and their link to measurable indicators. The project is also supported by a limited diagnosis of the internal and external reality of the four Polytechnic Institutes. As the typology of these projects is the transfer of scientific and technological knowledge, it would be desirable to have some information about the technologies existing in the Polytechnic Institutes to be explored in the market.
