Adriana Fernandes

She holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Management, both from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (Brazil), and a Ph.D. in Information Sciences and Technologies from the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL). In the academic field, in Portugal, she engages in activities such as: - Lecturer at UAL (Department of Sciences and Technologies), teaching a wide range of courses, including at UAL: Project Management, Decision Support Systems, Big Data, Software Engineering, and Systems Analysis; at ISCTE, she served as an Invited Assistant Professor, teaching the following courses: Collaborative Systems, Information Systems Management, Management Information Systems, Technologies for Operational Information Systems, and Cross-Cutting Skills. She is the Scientific Coordinator of the Management Informatics Degree at UAL. She is a researcher at the Information Sciences and Technologies and Architecture Research Center (ISTAR-IUL) and at Autónoma TechLab (UAL). In Brazil, she conducted activities such as: Lecturer at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, where she taught courses in Management, Engineering, and Information Systems. She was the Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Strategic People Management at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais. In her professional capacity, she worked as an Information Systems consultant at a leading global consulting firm, participating in various international projects, and served as a Public Policy Analyst for the Brazilian government. Her current research interests include topics related to information systems in the organizational context.
