Luís Miguel Grilo. He completed his PhD in Mathematics and Statistics on July 11, 2006 from the University of Lisbon. He is Assistant Professor at the University of Évora. Invited Assistant Professor at University of Aberta, until 2023, and Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar, until 2022, Portugal. From 2014 to 2020 he was a member of the board of CLAD (Portuguese Association of Classification and Data Analysis). He was editor of some international journals, such as the special issue 'Advances in Computational Data Analysis' (2020), of the Journal of Applied Statistics (JAS). He is currently Associate Editor of the Research in Statistics Journal, Taylor & Francis. He has published more than 30 articles in books and specialized scientific journals. He has 3 books.
