Valéria M. Pequeno

Valéria M. Pequeno has a degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Estadual do Ceará (1996), a master's degree in Computer Science from theUniversidade Federal do Ceará (2000) and a doctorate in Computer Engineering from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2011). She was a junior researcher at the Instituto de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores (INESC-ID) between 2012 and 2017. She was an assistant professor at the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa Luís de Camões for six years and currently is an assistant professor at the Escola Superior Náutica Infantes D. Henriques Her main activities are: data integration, schema mapping and ontology mapping, semantic web, data quality, conceptual modeling, ETL (Extraction-Transformation-Loading) process and digital humanities. She has participated in some projects (research and consulting) and is the author or co-author of more than 20 conference, book and journals publications.
